Gorse is a heavy three-piece band from Brighton, formed in 2008. After two years of changing line ups, guitar/vocalist James Parker and bassist Olly Thomas met drummer Jennie Howell, who brought a jazz-influenced but hard-hitting style to cement a new sound. Reinvigorated, the band began writing collaboratively, resulting in albums Old Certainties (2011)( link below) and Twisiting Nature (2013).
